The spawning mops are made out of green acrylic yarn and are 13" in length.  These will sink after becoming saturated with water and provide a safe haven for young fry or a place for fish to breed that prefer the bottom of the tank.    Spawning mops let female lay eggs that stick to the spawning mop so that they can be moved to another tank.
